The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) has stepped up preparations for Kenya’s participation in key upcoming international competitions, signaling a strong push to elevate the country’s sporting success on the global stage.
During a high-level meeting held on Monday the NOCK Executive Committee led by President Shadrack Maluki reviewed and aligned plans for major events that will shape the future of Kenyan athletes.
Top on the agenda is the ANOCA Zone V Youth Games, which Kenya is set to host, the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotland, and the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics in Senegal.
NOCK says these competitions are critical milestones, offering both emerging and elite athletes a chance to compete at higher levels, gain experience, and proudly represent Kenya on continental and global platforms.
Focus has now shifted to strengthening athlete preparation, improving coordination with various sports federations, and ensuring that Team Kenya is fully ready to deliver strong performances.
With the roadmap now clearer, Kenya is aiming not just to participate, but to compete with excellence and bring pride to the nation.
