KPA, Stanbic Aces lead KBF Women’s Premier League title race

KPA, Stanbic Aces lead KBF Women’s Premier League title race

The race for the KBF Women’s Premier League title is beginning to heat up as top teams continue to battle for dominance halfway through the season.

At the top of the standings, Stanbic Aces are leading the way with 19 points after winning nine out of ten matches. The Aces have impressed with their consistency, teamwork, and strong defending throughout the campaign.

Their performances have allowed them to control matches comfortably, as shown by their impressive 120-points difference.

Close behind them are unbeaten giants KPA Ladies, who many now be considered favourites to win the title. KPA have won all nine of their matches so far and have been the most dominant side in the league.

The dockers have scored heavily, averaging more than 78 points per game while conceding only 45. Their huge 298-points difference highlights their strength on both attack and defence.

Equity Hawks are also enjoying a strong campaign and remain firmly in the title conversation. The Hawks have won seven out of nine matches and boast one of the best defensive records in the league.

Their ability to score freely while remaining solid at the back has made them one of the toughest teams to face this season.

Strathmore Swords continue to hold onto a top-four position despite struggling for consistency. The Swords have managed to grind out important victories in close games, showing resilience when under pressure.

The battle for playoff spots is also becoming exciting, with Zetech Sparks and TH3 Swish pushing hard in the middle of the standings.

TH3 Swish have especially impressed with attacking style after scoring more than 600 points in just nine matches.

Elsewhere, USIU Flames and Eldonets have shown promise despite mixed results this season. A good run of form could quickly move them up the table.

At the bottom, UON Dynamites, Dream Girls, Safe Spaces and Lady Titans are fighting to avoid finishing in the lower positions as the second half of the season approaches.
