Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Volleyball Club made a powerful start to the 2026 Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship with a dominant straight-sets victory over Ghana’s KSC in Cairo, Egypt on Monday.
Kenya Pipeline Company Volleyball Club showed class and confidence from the first whistle, winning the Pool A clash with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-13.
The Kenyan side controlled the match early, using strong serves and sharp attacks to take the first set comfortably. KSC tried to fight back but struggled to break through KPC’s solid defence.
In the second set, the Ghanaian team improved and showed better coordination, but KPC remained calm and clinical. Powerful spikes and well-organised play helped the Kenyan champions close the set and move closer to victory.
KPC completely dominated the third set, showing superior fitness and teamwork. Quick plays and aggressive attacks saw them cruise to a 25-13 win, sealing an impressive opening result.
The victory puts KPC in a strong position in Pool A and sends a clear message to their rivals that they are serious contenders for the title.
The tournament continues in Cairo, with KPC now looking to build on this strong start as they aim for continental glory.
