Top volleyball clubs from across the country have started arriving in Eldoret for the much-anticipated Kipchumba Karori International Volleyball Tournament, set to serve off on Friday.
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Chema Volleyball Club, and Kenya Pipeline are among the first teams to land in Eldoret ahead of the second edition of the tournament.
The tournament will run from December 19-21 at the Eldoret National Polytechnic Grounds and has already attracted several top regional teams.
Eldowas, the home side and one of the local favourites, will enjoy home advantage as they prepare to challenge for honours in front of their fans.
Organisers say more teams are expected to check in by Thursday. The tournament draw for senior teams will be held on Thursday at 6 pm at Starbucks Hotel in Eldoret.
With the arrival of elite clubs and a large turnout expected, volleyball fans can look forward to three days of thrilling action and high-level competition.
