KCB Women’s Volleyball Team showed strong character on Sunday at Nyayo gymnasium as they recovered from the loss to Kenya Prisons on Friday to record a convincing win in the Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National League.
The bankers brushed aside Nairobi Prisons 3–0 (25–19, 25–19, 25–21) in their third league match played at the Nyayo National Stadium Gymnasium in Nairobi.
Coming off a battling 3–2 defeat to Kenya Prisons on Friday, KCB responded with an improved performance, controlling the game from start to finish.
Head coach Japheth Munala used the match to give fringe and upcoming players a chance, and they did not disappoint, showing confidence and skill on court.
Nairobi Prisons tried to fight back at different moments, especially in the third set, but they could not match KCB’s consistency and power.
The win lifts KCB to fifth place on the league table with four points from two matches as they continue their push up the standings.
