Anthony Ngatiari and Teresia Njeri were the standout performers at the 10th leg of the 2026 NCBA Golf Series held at Migaa Golf Club over the weekend, as the race to the Grand Finale gathered momentum.
Ngatiari delivered a calm and consistent performance to win the Overall Men’s title, beating a strong field of over 100 golfers. In the ladies’ category, Njeri impressed with a solid round of 75 nett to claim the Overall Ladies title, finishing ahead of Agnes Wairimu who took the runner-up spot.
Elsewhere, Timothy Murio topped the Division Two Men category with an excellent 71 nett, closely followed by John Kimani. In the Division Two Ladies category, Suzanna Wanja emerged winner, with Ruth Wangombe finishing second.
Wangombe, however, bounced back strongly in Division Three, where she secured victory, while Wanjiru Ngariani settled for second place. In the Guest category, Jessy Ndegwa also stood out with a 72 nett score to take top honours.
Speaking after the event, NCBA Kiambu Branch Manager Julius Mburu praised the tournament for bringing golfers together and promoting the growth of the sport across communities.
The Migaa leg marked another key stop in the 2026 series, with more players booking their slots for the Grand Finale set for November at Karen Country Club.
As the competition continues, the battle for qualification spots is expected to intensify in the coming legs of the NCBA Golf Series.
