Shabana Starlets promoted to WPL after going entire season unbeaten
Shabana Starlets FC have been crowned the Kenya Women National Super League Zone B champions after an outstanding unbeaten campaign in the 2025/2026 season.
The team sealed promotion to the Women’s Premier League (WPL) after finishing top of the table with 44 points from 18 matches.
Shabana Starlets enjoyed a brilliant season, winning 13 matches and drawing five without suffering a single defeat. Their strong performances throughout the campaign helped them secure a place in the top-flight league for next season.
The club’s success has been praised by football fans and stakeholders, with many congratulating the players and technical bench for their hard work and consistency.
The promotion marks a major achievement for the team as they now prepare to compete against some of the best sides in women’s football in Kenya.
Shabana Starlets will now shift focus to strengthening their squad ahead of their debut season in the WPL.
