APS Bomet head coach Sammy Omollo has been named the Kenyan Premier League Coach of the Month following his impressive turnaround of the club’s fortunes this season.
Popularly known as “Pamzo,” the tactician has earned praise for bringing discipline, stability, and belief to the APS Bomet side since taking charge earlier this year.
The award comes after a strong run in April where APS Bomet remained unbeaten, winning three matches and keeping three clean sheets. The team also scored five goals during the period as they moved away from the relegation zone.
Pamzo joined APS Bomet at a difficult time when the club was struggling near the bottom of the table. Since his arrival on January 1, 2026, the former Kenya international has transformed the team with a solid defensive system and strong leadership on and off the pitch.
Under his guidance, APS Bomet recorded important victories, including wins against strong sides like KCB, helping the club gain confidence in their fight to remain in the top flight.
APS Bomet congratulated their coach through a club statement, describing him as a tactician, leader, and winner whose hard work and vision continue to inspire the team.
The recognition is also a major boost for the club as they continue their debut season in the Kenyan Premier League with hopes of securing survival.
Pamzo’s success has been welcomed by fans and football stakeholders who believe his experience and winning mentality have given APS Bomet a new identity and renewed hope for the future.
