Nairobi United midfielder Kevin Wangaya has been named the April SportPesa Player of the Month following his impressive performances for the club.
Wangaya received the award on Thursday during a ceremony held at the team’s training ground at Jamhuri High School.
The midfielder was awarded a glittering trophy and a cash prize of Sh50,000 in recognition of his outstanding displays in April.
Speaking after receiving the award, a delighted Wangaya described the honour as a true reflection of hard work, discipline and self-motivation. He thanked his teammates, coaches and the entire technical bench for supporting and encouraging him throughout the season.
The award ceremony was attended by the full Nairobi United squad led by head coach Godfrey Oduor, popularly known as Solo.
The recognition now adds to Wangaya’s growing influence at Nairobi United as the club continues its push for league success.
